First minister reshapes cabinet portfolios
In a series of portfolio changes to the Scottish government, First Minister, Humza Yousaf, has appointed:
Màiri McAllan as Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero and Energy;
Neil Gray as Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health and Social Care; and
Fiona Hyslop as Cabinet Secretary for a standalone Transport portfolio.
The reshaped cabinet, unchanged in number at ten, will include seven women.
Jim Fairlie will also join the government as Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity.
Parliament will be asked to approve the new appointments of Hyslop, Stewart and Fairlie after recess.
