Everflow is the sole water appearance on list of best utilities to work for

Water retailer Everflow came third in the utility sector rankings of the UK’s Best Companies to Work For list, in the 2021 results compiled by workforce engagement specialist Best Companies.

It was also the only water company on the top ten, behind renewable firm Pure Planet and distribution network operator UK Power Networks.

Best Companies provides multiple rankings, on company size, sector and region. The group, which comprises business water retailer, Everflow Water, and utilities software provider, Everflow Tech, was also named as the 18th best North East company and the 60th best mid-sized company in the UK.

Chief executive, Josh Gill, who set up Everflow in 2015, said: “This award means the world to me as one of my key aims when starting out was to create a workplace where people were happy to spend their time.”
