Energy & Utility Skills appoints chair for partnership
Energy & Utility Skills Partnership Chief Executive’s Council has appointed chief executive of gas distribution network, SGN, Mark Wild OBE as its chair.
Wild (pictured) succeeds chief executive of Eon UK, Michael Lewis.
Chief executive of Energy & Utility Skills, Phil Beach, said the sector needed to recruit and train over 250,000 new employees this decade. That will, he added, require improvement in the sector’s attraction and retention as well as improvements to equality, diversity, and inclusion.“
