Diageo renews five-year partnership with WaterAid

WaterAid and drinks company, Diageo, have renewed their partnership for five-years in a £4m arrangement to “help transform lives with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene in communities across Diageo’s global supply chains and beyond.”

According to Diageo the partnership will employ climate-resilient and sustainable technologies to “help protect communities from the growing impacts of climate change on access to clean water and decent sanitation.”

Diageo said it will continue to invest in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) under the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 6 which aims to ensure everyone has clean water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030.
