CCW has published its third annual Water Mark assessment of water company performance across a spread of measures it considers particularly pertinent for customers, from satisfaction with service and bill affordability, to leakage and complaints.
All but three companies secured the highest ranking of ‘good’ on satisfaction with overall service, with those three – Thames, Southern and South West/Bournemouth – still securing ‘above average’. The industry also did well on ‘satisfaction with value for money’ and ‘bill affordability’.
All firms scored low on ‘awareness of additional services’ (priority services), though South West, Bristol and Portsmouth did better than the rest. Performance on other metrics was mixed (see table).
