CCW’s senior director for policy, research and campaigns, Mike Keil, will take up post as interim chief executive from 2 October, after Emma Clancy’s departure.

Keil (pictured) has been with CCW since 2017 and the organisation said his appointment will bring valuable continuity, as well as extensive water sector knowledge and experience, to the leadership of CCW as it begins the search for a permanent chief executive.
Defra is also recruiting for a new chair for CCW, with applications open until 9 October. https://apply-for-public-appointment.service.gov.uk/roles/7780
