Watchdog appoints director to newly created role in consumer relations

CCW has appointed Nicola Brown to its newly-created role as director of consumer relations.


Brown (pictured) joins CCW’s executive team from Npower where for six years she was head of customer contact following four years at British Gas.


CCW said Brown has experience in leading digital and customer transformation and has spent a year “working for a charity focused on supporting vulnerable young people.”


Brown will head up CCW’s consumer relations team, which handles more than 12,000 customers complaints and enquiries a year from Chief executive of CCW, Emma Clancy, said: “I’m looking forward to learning best practice from the energy sector.”


Brown joined CCW on Monday 4 October.
