Business Stream reports past year's savings to customers top £31m

Business Stream has claimed to have saved its customers more than £31m over the past year. The savings, it said, did not include those made through office closures as a result of Covid restrictions.

According to the company, total savings for 2020/21 included nearly £15million in customer discounts and close to £2m in energy savings for its customers.

It attributed more than £14m of water savings to its efficiency services. It said the figures were based on physical interventions to provide a cost reduction for its customers through either discounts or services.
