Business Stream offers charitable incentive to boost Direct Debit

Water retailer, Business Stream, has launched a pilot campaign to increase uptake of Direct Debit payment among its small and medium sized business customers. As an incentive, the retailer has offered each of the first 150 businesses who sign up, a £10 donation to a charity chosen by them from a list provided by Business Stream.

The retailer said the initiative is the latest move in its plan to “make a positive difference to its people, its customers, the environment and local communities.”

The charities on the list include Macmillan Cancer Research, charity: water, Marine Conservation Society, Dementia Support and the Scottish Association for Mental Health.
