Business Stream appoints three to leadership team

Business Stream has appointed Gail Cockburn as people director.

Cockburn (pictured) joins from the country’s leading whisky distributor, Edrington UK, where she was HR director and has spent close to 20 years.

She will develop and deliver a new people strategy, as well as oversee the company’s dedicated people and development function.

Her appointment followed those of Amanda Scovell, who has been promoted to director of operations after three years as transformation business lead, and Tom Abel has been promoted to director of sales after six years in his previous role as head of commercial development.
