British Water seeks supply chain views in innovation, cyclicality and commercial terms
by Karma Loveday
British Water’s Supply Chain Task Force is seeking views until 7 April on three issues, as part of its work to explore key themes that are believed to be hampering effective project delivery, efficiency and collaboration in the UK water market.
The issues are:
• the continuing impact of cyclicality on the supply chain resulting from five-yearly AMP cycles;
• innovation – drivers to innovate, awareness of available sources of funding for innovation and the availability of test facilities for new innovations; and
• commercial terms and conditions and procurement processes – how procurement practices affect the productivity, well-being, and level of risk taken on by the supply chain.
To respond to the British Water surveys below.
