High street pharmacy and retailer, Boots, has secured for a self-supply water supply and sewerage licence.
Boots has around 2000 stores and manufacturing sites across the country. Ofwat reported in its notice of Boots’ application that the company considers self-supply will enable it to take more control over its water usage and effluent discharge, and advance its existing energy management activities.
