Black & Veatch sells UK water business

Black & Veatch has sold its UK water business to UK-based international technical services firm, RSK Group.
RSK has forecast the acquisition will add £160 million to its annual turnover. It expects to complete the deal in early 2021.
Under the deal, RSK will acquire the existing personnel, contracts, and assets of Black & Veatch Limited along with Black & Veatch Hong Kong Limited and Black & Veatch (SEA) Pte Limited in Singapore. Those companies will be combined under a new brand, Binnies.
RSK said strengthening its presence in the water sector was “a key strategic aim.” Earlier this year the group acquired the UK-based Water Research Centre.
