Top of the forward work programme at CCW, published last week, was to increase awareness of the value of water to 70% of the population by 2030. And the watchdog said it aims, in the same period, to create the same level of awareness of how people's behaviour affects the water environment.
The projections appear in CCW’s forward work programme for 2023-24 published last week. Other ambitions include:
to deliver 80% of the recommendations set out in our independent review of water affordability by 2025, with the ultimate aim of eliminating water poverty through our campaign work by 2030;
to lift overall satisfaction with the water sector by more than 10% by 2025; and
to reduce the number of business retail complaints by 10% by March 2024 and to see satisfaction with retail services exceed 85% by 2027.
