Arup teams with InfoTiles in asset value offering

Arup has entered a strategic partnership with Norwegian digital analytics company, InfoTiles, to offer water and wastewater utilities the means to “maximise the value and sustainability of crucial water infrastructure”.
According to Arup, InfoTiles is known for its innovative use of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) in water and wastewater management. Arup claimed the partnership will “make better informed decisions and drive innovation in digital asset management, data and operational insight” and offered examples including:
predicting pumped asset failures;
identifying trends, infiltration blockages and network failures to reduce spills;
enhancing water treatment operation efficiency including dosing and maintenance cycles, energy and carbon; and
effective performance management and forecasting operation optimisations in advance.
Smart water lead at Arup, Bretton Davis, said InfoTiles had made “significant progress in digitally transforming the water sector across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, and the UK.”
