Arup appoints new major programmes director

Arup has appointed David Hughes as major programmes director. His UK and international brief is “supporting and accelerating delivery of significant national infrastructure and strategic change programmes.”

Hughes (pictured) joins Arup from the Department for Transport where he led the department’s portfolio of major rail investment projects.


He spent his early career at the Ministry of Defence, the BBC, and Deloitte.
