Arqiva appoints new chief as incumbent takes up non-executive directorship

Communication firm, Arqiva Group, has appointed its current chief commercial Officer,

Communication firm, Arqiva Group, has appointed its current chief commercial Officer, Shuja Khan, as chief executive officer.

Khan (pictured) has held his current role since January 2020, and is credited with setting “a new strategic direction for the business.” He will succeed Paul Donovan with effect from 01 June 2022.

Khan’s 20-plus years in leadership roles in the technology, media and communications sector include chief commercial officer for Cable & Wireless for 24 territories in the Caribbean and Latin America and positions at Virgin Media and Liberty Global Europe.

Outgoing chief, Paul Donovan, leaves after two years in the post during which he made made “a significant and positive impact on the business.” He will formally leave Arqiva on 30 June 2022 and will return as a non-executive director.
