Peter Perry, the outgoing chief executive of Welsh Water, has taken up post as the chair of Spring, the innovation centre of excellence for the UK and Ireland water sector.
Susan Davy is to retire as Pennon Group chief executive, and from its board. She has led the company since 2020 and served 18 years with the group. She said the approval of the company’s investment plans for the next five years by Ofwat made now “a natural juncture to retire”. She will remain in post until a successor is appointed. On 1 July, Sarah Heald returned to the company to take up post as chief strategy, regulatory affairs and investor relations officer.
Professor Elizabeth Fisher and Caroline May have been appointed as non-executive directors of the Office for Environmental Protection, and Professor Dan Laffoley and Dr Paul Leinster CBE have been reappointed for second terms.
