Anglian Water to run second consultation on new reservoir proposal

Anglian Water is to open a second phase of public consultation on its proposals for a new reservoir in Lincolnshire that will run between 30 May and 25 July.

The water company has has invited feedback on the emerging design and the associated water infrastructure required to fill the reservoir, treat the water, and transport it to homes and businesses.

The reservoir design proposal includes new footpaths and cycling trails, a lagoon which would maintain a consistent water level all year round for sailing and wind surfing, and a wetland area for wildlife.
