Anglian Water seeks partner for smart meter roll out

Anglian Water has embarked on a search for an “end-to-end smart metering delivery solution to continue the rollout of its installation programme.”

The water company said it was seeking “potential partners to manage the whole smart metering process from beginning to end, encompassing supply, installation and network provision across the East of England.” Interested parties can register their interest HERE.

It has invited interested parties to make contact to “gauge capability, interest and to support the development stage of the project through a market engagement process.” Anglian has scheduled a webinar for 23 March with further information.

The collaboration, Anglian said, would continue into the next business planning cycle from 2025. It said it will 1.2 million more smart meters during 2025-2030.
