Affinity Water announces four, signed framework agreements worth £100m
Affinity Water has unveiled four, five-year framework agreements worth some £100m signed with Enisca, Integrated Water Service, John Browne Construction and NMCN under its capital investment programme for AMP7.
Affinity said the framework infrastructure projects will complement the company’s sustainability reductions programme, continue building on its resilience and protecting customer supplies.
The framework partners will provide civil and mechanical and electrical engineering for more than 100 projects providing including process treatment and pumping station projects. According to Affinity they will add more than 23km of pipes to its network, build a new booster station, reservoirs and treatment plants to enable it to move water in and around its supply area and reduce abstraction from natural sources such as chalk streams.
Director of asset strategy and capital delivery at Affinity, Steve Plumb, said: “These frameworks adopt a more collaborative approach focusing on achieving shared programme value and efficiencies.”
