Major water users point to persistent problems in the retail market

The Major Energy Users’ Council (MEUC) has highlighted a set of persistent problems that continue to blight the experience of industrial and commercial water customers in the business retail market.

In a new report, published last month to coincide with the market’s third birthday, the MEUC found engagement with the market high but satisfaction very mixed among its members – which include manufacturers, national multi-site businesses, infrastructure providers and power generators. It said priority issues to address were: meter reading and bills; customer service; and inconsistency and inefficiency in the market.

The report, which included a set of recommendations, is at at: https://library.meucnetwork.co.uk/pdfs/MEUC-3-year-statement.pdf
