Water customers have ranked Welsh Water as highest for satisfaction with services in Ofwat’s new Customer Measure of Experience (C-MeX) survey by.
Following the C-MeX “shadow operation” year 2019-20, ahead of permanent operation beginning this year, respondents rated Welsh Water at 82.47compared to the mean for Wales and England of 76.65.
The C-MeX survey combines responses from household customers who have recently contacted their company about their experience, and from a customer experience survey of random members of the public.
Welsh Water’s chief executive, Peter Perry (pictured) said: the results “indicate that we are getting a lot of things right – even in some of the most challenging times the company has ever seen.”
In January the Institute of Customer Service made Welsh Water the highest-ranked utility in the UK and first water company to make the top 50 companies in the UK.
