Welsh Water publishes commitments to wellbeing promotion
Welsh Water has formally launched a series of commitments to promote wellbeing in Wales, in line with Welsh Government policy.
The company has mapped the commitments it has signed up to in its PR19 business plan on to the seven wellbeing goals set out in the 2015 Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, to demonstrate clearly where its actions will contribute to the delivery of that policy. The seven government goals concern prosperity, resilience, health, equality, community cohesion, culture and global responsibility.
The newly published Wellbeing Commitments for 2025 also chime with the company’s long term plan, Welsh Water 2050, and its new purpose statement, embedded in its Articles of Association in December: “To provide high quality and better value drinking water and environmental services so as to enhance the wellbeing of our customers and the communities we serve, both now and for generations to come.”
