Northern Ireland’s Department for Infrastructure has launched a recruitment campaign to appoint a new chair for publicly-owned NI Water.
Existing chairman Dr Len O’Hagan (pictured) is due to relinquish the part-time post which has a salary of £40,000 in April. He has welcomed the news that the Province now has a devolved administration again after a three-year political hiatus.
The return of politicians to Stormont should improve the company’s finances and increase investment in the Province’s creaking wastewater infrastructure.
