SES Water boosts operating income 18%

Bill increases lifted half-year revenue 3% to £34.3m while operating costs were down 3% to £23.3m from the same period in 2018 when the company incurred cost for network burst repairs and leakage reduction that were not repeated during the first half of 2019.

Profit before tax at the interim was up £1.2m to £5.8m after finance cost increased year-on-year £0.5m to £5.3m.
