Former Thames retail boss to head up SES Water

SES Water has appointed Ian Cain as its new chief executive.

Cain is currently chief executive of Vattenfall group’s iSupplyEnergy and between 2013 and 2017 was Thames Water’s managing director for retail and group customer service. He has also held a number of senior customer service and transformation positions at British Gas.

Cain will take up his role on 3 February 2020, when Anthony Ferrar retires after 11 years with the company.
