BIM4Water appoints Environment Agency flood risk manager to steering group

Digital transformation group BIM4Water has appointed the Environment Agency’s flood and coastal risk manager Karen Alford to its steering group in the honorary position of nominated member.

The appointment recognises Alford’s work driving digital adoption in the water industry and the group hopes she will support it in its mission to lead the digital transformation of the sector through Better Information Management.

Alford joins on the steering group representatives of water companies, suppliers, contractors, consultants and independents. BIM4Water operates under the umbrella of British Water.
