Water Industry Forum appoints Spencer as non-executive director

Not-for-profit stakeholder forum, the Water Industry Forum, has appointed Jean Spencer as a non-executive director. The forum “addresses the UK water sector’s challenges through cross-sector collaboration.”

Spencer (pictured) is the Independent chair of the Senior Steering Group leading the development of the Environment Agency-led National Framework for Water Resources.

Until her retirement in 2018, she was an executive director of Anglian Water Services, having joined the board in 2004 as regulation director.

Spencer said she looked forward to woking with the forum’s chief executive, Peter Drake other fellow board members “in continuing the work of the forum as an impartial voice in bringing diverse organisations together to tackle current and future challenges in the sector.”
