Thames appoints regulation director with CMA experience
Thames Water has made significant progress plugging the gaps on its executive team with the appointment of new directors.
Director of KPMG’s power and utilities division Nicola Cocks (pictured) will take up post on 28 October as regulation director designate, working alongside strategy and regulation director Nick Fincham who plans to depart next year. Cocks has ten years experience at Ofgem, including managing a price control and a referral to the Competition and Markets Authority.
John Bentley joins on 1 October in the new post of capital delivery director, part of the recent restructure of the asset team. He has occupied a range of positions in his 30 year career, including leading the strategy development and delivery of Severn Trent’s £1.5bn AMP6 capital investment programme.
George Mayhew took up post last month in the new role of corporate affairs director. He was most recently group corporate affairs director at National Grid.
