Severn Trent names first contractors for fast-tracked AMP7 projects

Severn Trent Water has named the first contractors it intends to use to deliver its £2bn investment in its construction projects between 2020 and 2025 under AMP7.
The company, whose business plan was fast-tracked by Ofwat, said it had changed the way that it intends to carry out the work by bringing the design work in-house, creating specialist design team, and working with more construction contractors.
The framework has been structured into four defined lots: Capital Delivery Design and Build Frameworks (Lot 1) and three separate Capital Delivery Build Only Frameworks (Lots 2-4)
Severn Trent has announced the contractors for the first two lots as:
