Costain Group appoints new chief

Costain Group’s natural resources division managing director, Alex Vaughan, will be appointed as group chief executive on 7 May 2019.

He will succeed Andrew Wyllie CBE who is retiring to pursue a non-executive career. He is currently president of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a non-executive director of Yorkshire Water Services.

Vaughan has been with Costain since 1992 and was appointed to the executive board in 2006.
