Gemserv acquires digital duo

Gemserv has acquired two specialist consultancies in digital transformation and cyber security

in a move to strengthen and broaden services to clients and open up new markets.

Gemserv has bought ASE Consulting and Aprose Risk for an undisclosed sum. They will, Said Gemserv, create a combined group with 180 staff and annual revenues of more than £20m.

Gemserv chief executive, Alex Goody, said the acquisitions form “a step change for the business at a time when significant opportunities are emerging from the disruption underway in its core markets.”

He went on: “These acquisitions will help Gemserv keep ahead of developments by enhancing our digital expertise. As well as significantly strengthening and broadening the services the combined business can offer to our existing clients.” For existing clients it will be “business as usual” said Goody.
