Jacobs appoints Harvey as utilities lead in Europe

Jacobs Engineering Group has appointed Bryan Harvey as vice president of its utilities business in Europe.

Harvey will be based in London with responsibility for programme and service delivery to Jacobs’ regulated utility clients in the water and energy markets in the UK and Europe.

Harvey said Jacobs’ new offering in utilities enables it to “help our clients and whole communities think differently about the future and how they become more resilient.”

He was previously responsible for the global strategy and sales of CH2M’s water business, where he had been since 2012 and led global water operations prior to that. Jacobs acquired CH2M last year.

Jacobs reported sales of $15bn in 2017 when combined with full-year CH2M revenues. It employs more than 77,000 people.
