Affinity appoints National Grid gas director as new chief

Affinity Water has appointed National Grid’s gas transmission director Pauline Walsh as its new chief executive officer and a company director.

Walsh (pictured) will start at the end of April, when current chief executive Simon Cocks steps down. Cocks will stay on as a non-executive director of Affinity Water.

Prior to joining National Grid in 2015, Walsh held senior leadership roles at Havells-Sylvania, Fred Olsen, Philips Electronics and the Ford Motor Company.
