Utility Bidder is latest energy intermediary to seek business water retail licence

Energy management and brokerage Utility Bidder has applied for a business water supply and sewerage licence (WSSL).
The company is seeking to offer water, sewerage and trade effluent services to “complement its well-established energy management and brokerage services.”
According to Utility Bidder: “Customers will benefit from a multi-utility service focussed on a renowned level of customer service and expertise in delivering cost savings.”
The application was, including self-supply licences, the 32nd, since the market opened in April last year with 27 in play.
