Switches hold steady as retail market passes nine month mark

Some 3.5% of supply points in the non household retail water market have now been switched to a new supplier, MOSL reported in its third CEO Quarterly Market Review, published last week and covering the first nine months of live operation. The most recent quarter saw switching activity continue at a steady rate, with 30,649 switches bringing the total number since 1 April 2017 to 91,960.

MOSL also reported there were 37 retailers in the market: 23 national, 12 regional and two self supply. More widely it provided updated information on code activity and settlement, as well as new strands of reporting including on geographically based activity.
