Open Water to survey business customer awareness of market opening

Open Water has commissioned a national survey on levels of awareness among non-household customers on the opening of the retail market next year.

Ronan Palmer, director of strategy and planning at Ofwat, told delegates this at The Water Event in his keynote presentation on Tuesday, pointing out 99% of UK businesses are SMEs employing fewer than 250 employees. He also unequivocally confirmed Ofwat’s position that companies and the market will be ready on time for April 2017 opening.
