Wave sets itself a water efficiency target

Wave has put a number on its water efficiency ambition, pledging to help customers save 9.4m cubic metres of water within four years.

Chief executive, Lucy Darch (pictured), made the commitment while speaking at the business session of last week’s Waterwise conference, as part of a presentation about Wave’s water efficiency work and ambition.

The conference comprised six sessions running across the whole of last week, with the overarching theme of Mainstreaming water efficiency: averting a UK water crisis. The sessions covered: ambition, housing, people, business, net zero and the environment. More coverage will follow in our April edition of The Water Report.
