Water Industry Forum appoints new chair as executive director to step down

The Water Industry Forum (WIF) is coming under new leadership following its merger with British Water.

One of WIF’s current non-executive directors, Professor Tony Conway, will take over as chair, following current chair, Dr Mark Fletcher’s appointment as the new chair of the British Water board.

Meanwhile, WIF executive director and co-founder Peter Drake will step down in March 2023, after 11 years at the helm. WIF is seeking a successor for the four-day a week leadership role.
