WaterAid appoints new global director
WaterAid has appointed Andrew McCracken as global director.
McCracken (pictured) is currently chief executive of independent grant maker, Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, where he has been for six years.
He is also on the board of Oxfam Ireland and is chair of membership organisation for voluntary sector leaders in Northern Ireland, CO3. He will join WaterAid International in February 2021.
Chair of the board of WaterAid international, Maureen O’Neill, said McCracken “impressed us with his experience and grasp of the subtlety of this role,” adding: “His dedication to development and social change will undoubtedly contribute to our success in achieving our goals.”
