United Utilities director joins diversity trailblazer list

Diversity promotion group, Northern Power Women, has included United Utilities’ director, Paula Steer, in its 2022 Northern Power Women Power List.

The list “recognises influential trailblazers who work towards creating gender balance in organisations from across the North of England.” United Utilities’ Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Estate Services director, Steer (pictured), was among 103 individuals from the North of England who have “contributed to making a difference in their communities and organisations whilst accelerating gender equality,” according to Northern Power Women.

The list was compiled through open nomination and selection by a panel of judges. It will be celebrated at the Northern Power Women awards on 21 March 2022 at Manchester Central Convention Complex.
