Thames wins listing among top UK employers for women

The Times newspaper in partnership with charity, Business in the Community, has placed Thames Water among the UK’s 50 best employers for women.

Thames was in the 2021 listing of The Times Top 50 Employers for Women register which is run by BITC.

Meanwhile Thames’ chief executive, Sarah Bentley (pictured), has been appointed as chair of BITC’s Gender Equality Leadership Team. The group of business leaders aims to ensure women can "achieve their full potential at work" and focuses on “helping BITC members create inclusive workplace cultures and to promote gender balance through policies on equal caring responsibilities and closing the gender pay gap.
