Severn Trent Water joins initiative to boost effort against climate change

Severn Trent Water has joined a multi-stakeholder initiative, launched by engineering giant ABB, to spur awareness and action in combating climate change.

The initiative, dubbed the Energy Efficiency Movement, is inviting companies to “make a public pledge as a way of inspiring others to take action.”

Severn Trent said it has committed to achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030 by first reducing of energy use and direct emissions with offsetting a last resort.
