Ofwat to refresh its fee cap in company licences from January

Ofwat has formally notified water companies that their licences will be modified from 1 January 2023 to enable the regulator to bring its fee collection arrangements up to date with current requirements.

Under changes to Condition N of water company licences, the existing cap on fees will be replaced by a new one. The decision followed consultation which produced no objections from the industry.
