Ofwat confirms in-period performance payments for 2020-21
Ofwat has confirmed with only small changes from its October draft determinations the in-period Outcome Delivery Incentive payments companies will receive for 2020-21 performance.
£67m will be repaid to customers, under the final determinations issued last week. The table shows the details, including that Severn Trent will receive the highest reward at £25m, while Thames and Southern Water will pay the largest penalties, of £53m and £46m respectively.
The regulator agreed to requests from Severn Trent and Portsmouth to defer some payments to ease bills in 2022-23.
Ofwat also confirmed per capita consumption ODIs will be determined at the end of the period for all years within the 2020-25 price control, following Covid-related impacts.
