Morrison Water Services wins its first leakage framework

South West Water has awarded a framework contract to address its need to reduce leakage to Morrison Water Services – the contractor’s first leakage detection framework contract.


The contract is for three years, with an option to extend for a further two years.


Morrison Water Services described leakage detection as “a key focus” for its business. Contract director, Murray Powell, said: “This framework partnership with South West Water is testament to the advances we have made in the leakage arena over recent years.


Morrison Water Services said the partnership with South West Water will set up local apprenticeship and graduate training schemes. It added: “A number of [South West Water ] employees have transferred to Morrison Water Services as a result of this contract award.
