Fitch launches sustainability information source
Credit ratings agency, Fitch, has launched a “transparent, independent source of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) information for benchmarking, reporting, and communicating the true impact of companies worldwide.”
According to Fitch its new ESG information source, Sustainable Fitch will, over the coming months, provide the “first global ESG Ratings for all asset classes at an entity and instrument level.”
It said the source was “designed and built on fundamentals entirely” to help the financial community make better-informed decisions.
