CCW has established a new Challenge Coordination Group for PR24 and appointed Caroline Warner, the chair of Affinity Water’s Customer Challenge Group, as its independent chair.
CCW explained the role of the group is to facilitate more consistent local challenge of water companies as they develop their PR24 business plans. This will include sharing comparative information on company performance, to empower effective local challenge, as well as sharing good practice in areas such as customer engagement and innovative approaches to service delivery.
The group’s members will be the chairs and/or representatives from water companies’ local challenge groups. As well as heading up Affinity’s CCG, Warner has experience that spans the public and private sectors.
The inaugural meeting took place on 20 April. It will meet regularly throughout the PR24 process.
