Anglian starts public engagement on strategic pipeline

by Karma Loveday

Anglian Water has kicked off the public engagement for the first phase of its mega strategic pipeline project to take water from wetter parts of its region to drier ones and reduce the number of customers reliant on a single water source.

The company has set up an online forum, open until 20 July, for public feedback on a 24km section of main planned between Lincoln and Ancaster. This is the first part of the 500km Lincolnshire to Essex scheme.

Construction is due to begin in the spring of 2021.
